Such an ambience, very unique taste of interiors. Feel fresh with atmosphere, nice breakfast place during weekends, having nature in your heart.. amazing place for nature lovers and perhaps for everyone.

10/10 this is how pannenkoekenhuisjes should be. Lots of space outside and a small sandpit for the kids and that apres-ski stubbe vibe on the inside. But overall it feels very family run and non-commercial, with the decoration being half-kabouters and half witch themed. It feels like it just wants to do good quality family food and the pancakes certainly delivered on that. Only concern is that when the weather is bad it’s hard to find a spot — but as nature reserves + kid friendly food options go, this is a winner. And for two pancakes and a tea we only paid 18 euros, which is a steel in this economy

Cute place next to a wonderful national reservation. The pea soup was really nice (though I still struggle with the soup portion size in the Netherlands half or even less compared to East European Countries). The pancake was ok. Edit: service improved. Got our food unexpectedly fast.

The atmosphere is great, they have a variety of beers, you should definitely try them. The hamburger was delicious. The meat stew was average. Prices are reasonable.

We came for breakfast/lunch last winter and had to come back another day because it was full not surprising though, the atmosphere is very unique and food is great! The fairytale vibe they created here is so cute and welcoming and food is delicious. Mulled wine was amazing as well as their soup and pancakes of course. Coming back as soon as we can :)

On the drive back from Harlem to the UK. Found a fantastic little cafe hiding in the woods. If you ever wondered what the cottage of Hansel and Gretel looked like, this could be it. And you get to eat and drink there. Hot chocolate was amazing. You must have the cream as the waitress said. She was right. Delicious. Pancakes with banana for my wife and I had apple. Coated in sugar, syrup and cinnamon. Worth a little detour for a snack on the way home.
